South Sudan host South Africa at the Juba Stadium on Tuesday for their second clash in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. They will be looking to win and get their campaign up and running on a positive note.
Ranked 169th in the world, the Bright Stars were beaten 1-0 by Congo in their opening clash. Chandrel Massanga struck the only goal of the game in the 12th minute as the visitors failed to recover from that in the remainder of the game.
It was their second loss in a row, having also lost to Sudan in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers three months ago in their last official game before this one.
