Pep Guardiola's Manchester City secured a comfortable 4-0 win away to Slovakian outfit Slovan Bratislava in their second UEFA Champions League game this season. The reigning English champions registered their first win in the competition on Tuesday, October 1.

Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring in the eighth minute before Phil Foden doubled their lead in the 15th minute to send the visitors 2-0 up at the break. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland got in on the action in the 58th minute before James McAtee wrapped up the scoring in the 74th minute.

Ortega had a fine game and completed 100% of his 18 passes, he made no saves and made four recoveries during the game.

Rico Lewis - 8.5/10

Rico Lewis was excellent for Manchester City against Slovan Bratislava. He completed 95% of his passes, created three chances, and bagged an assist. He also won four duels to help his team keep their second consecutive Champions League clean sheet.

Manuel Akanji - 7.5/10

The Switzerland international played for 61 minutes and completed 53 passes. He won one tackle and made four recoveries in his time on the pitch.

John Stones - 8/10

The English defender had a fine game for his club and completed 99% of his 110 passes. He made five recoveries and won five duels.

Josko Gvardiol- 8/10

The Croatian defender was solid for Manchester City during his 78 minutes on the pitch. He completed 97% of his passes and won two tackles while making five recoveries in the game.

Matheus Nunes - 7.5/10

The Portuguese midfielder had a solid game and helped his team's cause with nine recoveries and 59 passes in the game.

Ilkay Gundogan - 9.5/10

The 33-year-old midfielder was brilliant for Manchester City and completed an astounding 115 passes, the most in the Champions League clash. He scored and struck the bar in a dominant performance in the middle of the park.

Jeremy Doku - 8.5/10

The Belgian winger had a fine game against the 31-year-old Kevin Wimmer on the opposite flank. He bagged an assist in the game and created five chances and even managed to strike the bar once.

Phil Foden - 9/10

The England star had a solid game for 78 minutes before his withdrawal from the fray. He completed 51 passes while scoring and assisting in the game.

Savinho - 7.5/10

The 20-year-old Brazilian looked classy for Manchester City in their Champions League clash. He completed 87% of his passes and created two chances in another solid display for the English champions.

Erling Haaland - 8/10

The Norwegian had a typical game for Manchester City in the Champions League, taking just 10 touches in his 61 minutes on the pitch. He grabbed his customary goal and made just two passes in his time on the pitch.

James McAtee - 7.5/10

The 21-year-old came on and bagged a goal for City, his first in the Champions League. He played for 29 minutes following his introduction and tested the keeper twice from his 19 touches.

Ruben Dias - 7/10

The Portuguese defender came on for 29 minutes and was solid in the heart of the Manchester City defense. He completed 97 percent of his passes and made one recovery while on the pitch.

Kyle Walker - 6/10

The veteran defender came on late and completed 12 passes. He managed to test the Slovan keeper from outside the box as well, but could not affect the game more as a result of his late introduction.

Jack Grealish - 6/10

The Englishman came on late for City and did not have a massive effect on the game. He completed 12 passes in 12 minutes on the pitch.
