Arsenal are reportedly keen to bring back their former winger Serge Gnabry. But the German is apparently quite happy at his current club, Bayern Munich.
Gnaby, 28, scored once and assisted as many in 18 games across competitions for the Gunners between the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons. The Germany international subsequently spent time with West Bromwich Albion and Werder Bremen before arriving at Bayern in the summer of 2017.
After a season on loan at TSG Hoffenheim, Gnabry has been a key player for the Bavarian giants since the 2018-19 season. In 238 games across competitions, he has contributed 86 goals and 53 assists, winning five straight Bundesliga titles and a continental treble, among other domestic and continental honours.
Despite his Bayern contract expiring in 2026, the Gunners are interested in a reunion with their former player. Gnabry endured a rather underwhelming 2023-24 campaign, bagging five goals and two assists in 20 games across competitions in an injury-ravaged season.
However, as per Christian Falk, on the FC Bayern Insider podcast (as per TBR), Gnabry has no plans to leave Bavaria:
“We’ve heard that they were a bit offended when it was reported that they wanted to sell him. Arsenal were always interested, and he doesn’t only say ‘no, I’m staying.’ But he also says why not extend my contract?"
Gnabry was reportedly sold by the Gunners for just £5 million in 2016, but his current market value is €40 million, as per Transfermarkt.

Arsenal have had 11 players at Euro 2024, but ahead of the final between England and Spain on Sunday (July 14), only four still remain in the competition. Three - Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale - play for the Three Lions, while goalkeeper David Raya turns out for Spain.
