Serie A giants unwilling to spend more than €30m to sign Manchester United star this summer - Reports

According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus are unwilling to spend more than €30 million to sign Manchester United star Mason Greenwood. The Englishman's loan spell at Getafe has ended and the forward will not continue at the Spanish club.

As Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus hold a concrete interest in the payer, who doesn't have a future at Old Trafford. United are reportedly hoping to collect a fee in the region of €45- 50 million for Greenwood. However, Thiago Motta's side aren't willing to spend more than €30 million on the forward.

Mason Greenwood is a product of Manchester United's academy. He has so far made 129 appearances for the Red Devils' senior team, scoring 35 goals and providing 12 assists.

Greenwood returned to professional football last year after being acquitted of the charges against him. He was accused of rape, sexual assault, and controlling and coercive behavior by his partner Harriet Robson.

Greenwood spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Getafe. He had an impressive campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in 36 appearances across competitions for the La Liga side.

Fabrizio Romano clarifies Manchester United's stance on Mason Greenwood

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that United won't entertain a loan deal with a buy obligation for Mason Greenwood. On his Daily Briefing, Romano said that the Red Devils would look to sell Greenwood.

He further added that United's stance has remained the same since February. He said (via Football365):

"We keep repeating since February, March that Mason Greenwood story is over at Manchester United. It could be that kind of formula- a potential loan move with buy obligation not an option."

Greenwood is still only 21 and has shown his quality with Getafe. Hence, Juventus' interest is unsurprising. The Old Lady, however, will reportedly look to offload Federico Chiesa first before contemplating another deal.
