Real Madrid and Bayern Munich among clubs keeping tabs on England Euro 2024 star likely to be valued at €70 million: Reports

Bayern Munich, Juventus, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in the summer transfer window. As per Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas, several top European clubs are eyeing a move for the English defender.

Guehi represented England at the 2024 European Championships and was one of their better performers. However, the Three Lions ended as runner-ups after a 2-1 loss against Spain in the final last Sunday, July 14.

At the Euros, Guehi started six matches for England and helped the Three Lions keep two clean sheets. He only missed the quarter-final fixture against Switzerland due to a yellow card suspension.

Meanwhile, he made 29 appearances across all competitions for Crystal Palace last season and also provided an assist. He started 23 games for the Eagles in the Premier League, helping the side keep seven clean sheets. In the English top tier, Marc Guehi had an average passing accuracy of 86.9%, with 3.96 clearances per 90 minutes.

However, he also missed 12 Premier League matches between February and April due to a knee injury. With his performance at the 2024 European Championships, Marc Guehi has gained the interest of multiple clubs.

The list of clubs includes the names of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Juventus. As per another report by Sky Sports, Liverpool and Arsenal also have the 24-year-old on their transfer radar. His price is expected to be around €70 million, with his contract expiring in 2026.


Real Madrid aim to sign Bundesliga defenders in summer: Reports

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund's Nico Schlotterbeck and Bayer Leverkusen's Piero Hincapie in the summer, as per Rodra (via Inaki Angulo's Twitch).

Nico Schlotterbeck has three years remaining on his current contract with Borussia Dortmund. He made 48 appearances for Dortmund last season across competitions, where he bagged two goals and five assists.

Meanwhile, Piero Hincapie played 43 matches for Xabi Alonso's Bundesliga-winning side across competitions. He made 26 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, where he was named in the starting XI on 16 occasions and was substituted during 10 games. Interestingly, he also has three years remaining on his contract with the Bundesliga champions.

Real Madrid are reportedly keen to sign a defender this summer after they parted ways with Nacho Fernandez and Rafa Marin. Meanwhile, David Alaba is out due to a knee injury.
