Manchester United are keen on signing Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior to bolster their squad ahead of the 2024-25 Premier League season, according to Todofichajes. The Red Devils are ready to offer €180 million plus €50 million in variables and a staggering €40 million annual salary for the Brazil international.

Backed by INEOS, Erik ten Hag and Co. have acted fast in the transfer window. They recently signed Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee before beating Real Madrid to land Leny Yoro's signature from Lille. In addition, the Red Devils are reportedly negotiating to sign Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

However, one of Manchester United's primary objectives is reportedly to convince Vinicius Junior to trade Real Madrid for a tenure at Old Trafford. The 24-year-old had a brilliant 2023-24 season, garnering 24 goals and 11 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.

He also helped Los Blancos win three trophies, including the La Liga title and UEFA Champions League, setting himself as one of the favorites to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or.

While Vinicius Junior would be a sensational signing for Manchester United, the former is reportedly happy at Real Madrid and wouldn't consider leaving the club. This comes even after the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, which could potentially impact his preferred position down the left wing.

Real Madrid furious with agent Jorge Mendes after failing to sign Leny Yoro ahead of Manchester United: Reports

According to The Mirror (via JOE), Real Madrid have been left fuming with Leny Yoro's agent Jorde Mendes after they missed out on his signature to Manchester United on July 18.

Yoro signed a five-year deal with the Red Devils for a reported transfer fee of €62 million despite allegedly preferring a move to the Santiago Bernabeu earlier this summer. Los Blancos allegedly offered €20 million to sign him but this was rejected by Lille.

The 18-year-old is currently represented by Jorge Mendes' Gestifute agency, which has led to Madrid blaming Mendes for missing out on Yoro's signature. Los Blancos reckon Mendes benefited financially from Yoro joining Manchester United and are now considering cutting all ties with the agent.

To make matters worse, Los Blancos are also frustrated with goalkeeper Andriy Lunin's situation at the club amid rumors of the 25-year-old being linked with an exit this summer. Mendes also represents Lunin which has allegedly further put a strain on the relationship between agent and club.
