Will PSG sell Kolo Muani to Manchester United?

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Randal Kolo Muani. They are said to be valuing the striker at €70 million and could launch a move in January.

As per a report in CaughtOffisde, the Red Devils are planning a January move for the PSG attacker, and the French club are open to listening to offers. However, they could block a winter move and will only allow a move next summer. They also want to recoup all of the €95 million spent on the Frenchman – €25 million more than what the Red Devils value him.

Manchester United signed Joshua Zirkzee in the summer to add competition to Rasmus Hojlund in attack. However, the Dutchman has failed to impress despite scoring on his Premier League debut.

Kolo Muani is now being seen as the solution despite the striker not doing well at PSG. He has started just two games in Ligue1 with five more appearances off the bench, scoring just two goals.

Manchester United legend not sure about strikers at Old Trafford

Dwight Yorke isn't sure if Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund are the kind of elite strikers that Manchester United are known to sign. He believes there have been encouraging signs with Zirkzee but he's still some way off.

He said on talkSPORT’s Inside Devils show:

"I think it's encouraging that he's got an opportunity to score. I think if he did go to a game and not have the opportunities that would be even more devastating for the lad. So it's encouraging, he's got his first goal and he had a couple of chances against Liverpool. But he's a striker, and every striker out there that's played at the top level, it's all about the opportunities. If you don't get those opportunities you're not going to score. But if you keep getting opportunities and you keep putting yourself in there, then you're likely to get one in the net at some point."
"But I would say that's a positive and that's encouraging. I'm still not sure, I would say with United attacking, with strikers at the moment, I think that right now where United is at, they're buying players to finish fourth. What I mean by that is that, the players they're bringing in are good players, they're not bad. But they're not the elite players that United normally are associated with. So you will get that type of performance that we need to get back in the top four," he added.

Manchester United have struggled this season and are 14th in the Premier League table. They are also without a win in the Europa League after two games.
