Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool star Mohamed Salah next summer. The Egyptian will be a free agent next summer as his contract at Anfield expires.

As per a report in GOAL, Salah has become a new target for PSG. The Ligue1 side are looking to sign a superstar next summer and see him as a perfect fit.

Salah has hinted that it is his final year at the club as his contract expires. He added that the club are yet to offer him a new deal and told the press after the win over Manchester United last month:

"I had a good summer, a long time to stay with myself and think positively a bit. As you know, this is my last year with the club and I want to enjoy it. I don't want to think about it; I feel I am free to play football - we will see what happens next year.
"To be fair I was coming to the game, it could be the last time [playing at Old Trafford]. Nobody in the club has talked to me about contracts. It is not up to me, it is up to the club."

The report claims that PSG want a big name added to the squad next summer to replace Kylian Mbappe. They decided to head in a new direction with the squad this season, but believe that a free transfer for Salah will go on par with the signing of Lionel Messi in 2021.

Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool next summer, claims pundit

Gabriel Agbonlahor claimed on talkSPORT in September that Mohamed Salah will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. He said that his source has confirmed that the forward will be moving to Saudi Pro League, saying:

"I know Salah is going. I've got a source that told me Salah's definitely going. Saudi, on a record contract. I'm hearing that he will earn more than [Cristiano] Ronaldo, he'll be the face of the football over there. You can't turn that down if you're Mo Salah.
"He's done everything at Liverpool hasn't he? I think he would have signed a new contract by now [if he was staying], and it's an offer he can't turn down."

Al Ittihad made a move for Mohamed Salah but Liverpool rejected the bid in 2023. The Saudi Pro League side are now reportedly set to face fight from PSG.
