Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad are looking for a huge revamp of their squad, targetting the likes of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Marquinhos and Manchester United midfielder Casemiro. A report from journalist Loic Tanzi of French outlet L'Equipe has highlighted Karim Benzema's side's targets in the transfer window.

AS Roma's Houssem Aouar is the first on the board. The midfielder made just 25 appearances for the Giallorossi last season after signing on a free and according to Italian outlet Il Messaggero, a move for €20 million is close to being finalised.

Aston Villa attacker Moussa Diaby is their next target. The Frenchman joined the Premier League side for a massive reported fee of £51.9 million. The versatile forward was a key presence for Unai Emery's side, bagging 10 goals and nine assists in 54 appearances.

PSG's Marquinhos is next on the list for Al-Ittihad. The Brazilian has established himself as a mainstay with Les Parisiens, having joined the side back in the summer of 2013. He made 36 appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 side this campaign.

Casemiro has an uncertain future at Manchester United. The former Real Madrid star enjoyed a brilliant first season with the Red Devils before enduring a poor second campaign. Blighted by poor form and injury issues while also being made to play centre-back, the 32-year-old is now a candidate to leave Old Trafford in the summer.

Fabrizio Romano issues update on Manchester United's pursuit of PSG star

Manchester United are yet to present an official bid for PSG's Manuel Ugarte. According to Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have engaged in negotiations over the player but the Red Devils have not proposed a deal yet.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Romano said:

“There is still some work to do. I'm told that there is still a direct discussion between Manchester United and PSG, but still not an official bid.
“So Paris Saint-Germain are waiting for Manchester United to present a proposal to decide how much they want to invest in Ugarte, and then they can decide on the future of the player.
“But for sure, Ugarte is on the list, and the relationship with the player’s agent is very good. So United are on it.”

The Uruguayan midfielder completed a move to PSG last summer, joining from Portuguese club Sporting CP for a reported €60 million. He made 37 appearances for the side, bagging three assists.

The Red Devils are looking to find a midfield partner for Kobbie Mainoo and Ugarte has come up as an option. The 23-year-old could be a replacement for Casemiro, who has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.
