Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly stormed off the pitch in Portugal's latest UEFA Nations League draw with Scotland at Hampden Park on Tuesday (October 15). Selecao were held to a 0-0 draw in a game that was largely dominated by the visitors.

However, it was not the end result but an action from the referee that seemingly got into the nerves of the Al-Nassr striker. With the game nearing its end, Portugal managed to hit on the break and win themselves a corner.

Unfortunately, before Ronaldo and Co. could make the most of this set-piece situation, on-field referee Lawrence Visser blew the final whistle. This moment seemingly angered the former Real Madrid star, who reportedly stormed down the tunnel without shaking the hands of the opposition (via Not the old firm).

During this tie, Scotland could only keep 30% possession while managing four attempts, out of which two found the target. Meanwhile, their opponents took 14 shots but only tested the home team goalkeeper on three occasions.

Despite the draw, Portugal still sit at the top of Group A, three points clear of second-placed Croatia. Poland are third with four points, while Scotland are at the bottom, scoring just one point.

Ronaldo's numbers for his national team are incredible, and he keeps going despite his nearing the age of 40. To date, he's made 216 appearances across competitions for the European country, bagging 133 goals and 45 assists.

Ronaldo's next match with his nation is a home fixture against Poland on November 15.

Portugal manager Roberto Martinez believes there's a lack of creativity and ideas in the final third following his team's 0-0 Nations League draw against Scotland on Tuesday.

The likes of Diogo Jota, Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes remained unsuccessful in unlocking the opposition defense on the night. Speaking after the game, Martinez said (via GOAL):

"A decision, a bit of magic in the box. We had a lot of desire, we worked very well without the ball. It was a dangerous game because we could have had possession, but Scotland doesn't need much to score a goal. We showed freshness, but we lacked freshness in the final third."

As for the team's main man, Ronaldo, he will return to Saudi Arabia and reunite with Al-Nassr. They travel next to Al-Shabab for a Saudi Pro League tie on Friday (October 18).
