Como manager Cesc Fabregas is keen on recruiting Real Madrid's Nico Paz this summer, according to journalists Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto. The 19-year-old star is also expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming days.

Nico Paz joined Los Blancos' La Fabrica in 2016 where he developed from being a centre-back to an attacking midfielder. He was given an opportunity to impress for the senior team, debuting last season in November 2023 against Braga in the UEFA Champions League.

The Argentina U20 international made eight appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal, helping Real Madrid win three trophies including the LaLiga title and UCL. However, with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Brahim Diaz ahead of him in the pecking order, Paz is expected to leave the club this summer.

Cesc Fabregas is keen on bolstering his squad with Paz's addition, while Girona and Alaves are also monitoring the transfer situation. Despite being willing to let Paz go, Los Blancos will reportedly insert a buy-back option in the deal, should the Argentine succeed at his next club.

Real Madrid midfielder decides to stay and not listen to offers following Carlo Ancelotti discussion: Reports

Dani Ceballos is expected to ply his trade for Real Madrid this season and not listen to any offers to leave following a discussion with head coach Carlo Ancelotti, according to AS (via The Real Champs).

Ceballos struggled for game time last season, making just 27 appearances across competitions, in which he scored one goal and provided two assists. However, he played just 864 minutes, with most of his appearances coming as a second-half substitute.

With the likes of Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde, Luka Modric, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and others above him in the pecking order, many fans expected Ceballos to leave the club this summer.

However, Ancelotti reportedly met with Ceballos this summer before the players went on holiday. During the meeting, the Italian tactician informed the 28-year-old that he will be counting on him next season.

Despite Atletico Madrid and Real Betis allegedly being interested in signing Ceballos, he has decided not to listen to any offers and stay put. The Spaniard has played just a single minute in two appearances so far this season and will be hoping to play a bigger role in Real Madrid's next fixture against Valladolid (August 25).
