Arsenal have made a bid of more than €25 million to sign Brazil wonderkid Gabriel Carvalho, according to Football Transfers. The 16-year-old midfielder currently plays for SC Internacional and his contract with the Porto Alegre-based club runs until December 31, 2028.

The Gunners are interested in signing Gabriel Carvalho in this summer transfer window and have made an offer of €25m plus bonuses, according to reports in Brazil.

Arsenal’s Brazilian transfer chief Edu, who is an expert in the South American market, is in charge of the deal involving Carvalho, whom he believes has the potential to sign bright at the Emirates Stadium.

Gabriel Carvalho attracted attention after he made his professional debut for Internacional in June. He became the youngest player for the Brazillian club in the 21st century, aged 16 years, 9 months, and 30 days, breaking the record of former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato.

The Gunners already have three Brazillian talents in their squad including center-back Gabriel Magalhães, left-winger Gabriel Martinelli, and centre-forward Gabriel Jesus.

Gabriel Carvalho netted one goal and provided one assist in 11 appearances across competitions for Internacional in the 2023-24 season. No official announcement about his potential transfer to the Gunners has been made from either of the clubs or the player.

Arsenal's Chido Obi-Martin reportedly undergoing medical ahead of Manchester United transfer

Young Arsenal talent Chido Obi-Martin is undergoing a medical ahead of completing the first part of his transfer to Manchester United in this summer transfer window, as per football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier Romano reported that Chido Obi-Martin has agreed to the Red Devils, and his latest report stated that the striker is undergoing medicals. The transfer will be confirmed in due course following Premier League's rules, which involve great scrutiny in the transfer of youngsters.

Chido Obi-Martin, who was one of the standout stars in youth football in England in 2023-24, netted 32 goals for the Arsenal U18 side last term, breaking the club's record for goals at that level in a single season.
