Mikel Arteta could opt to part ways with Jakub Kiwior this summer.

Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior has allegedly emerged as a potential sale for Mikel Arteta's side ahead of the the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Taking to X, acclaimed transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that Kiwior's time at the Gunners could come to an end soon. He wrote:

"Jakub Kiwior could leave Arsenal in case of good proposal, with Riccardo Calafiori close to joining. Understand there's possibility for loan but only with a mandatory buy clause. Italian clubs are keeping close eye to the situation, no formal proposals yet."

Kiwior, who featured in three games for Poland at the UEFA Euro 2024, is deemed to be a vital squad member at the Emirates Stadium outfit. The 24-year-old centre-back has proved to be an apt backup for Gabriel Magalhaes and has been used as a left-back as well.

Should Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori join Arsenal, Kiwior would experience a decrease in his game time at the outfit. Hence, he is said to have drawn interest from Napoli, Juventus, and AC Milan of late.

Since arriving from Spezia in a potential £21 million switch in January 2023, Kiwior has scored two goals in 38 total games for the Gunners.

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale could leave on loan this summer, states journalist

Speaking recently on Sky Sports, journalist Dharmesh Sheth claimed that Gunners shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale could be loaned out to address his game time issue. He said (h/t TBR):

"All options remain open regarding Aaron Ramsdale. His contract still has two years to run with the option of a further year. However, he found his game time limited last season following the arrival of David Raya. Arsenal don't want to lose Ramsdale but understand if he wants regular first-team football. Any potential deal would have to work for all parties and a loan cannot be ruled out."

Shedding more light on the Englishman's situation, Sheth concluded:

"There has been tentative interest in Ramsdale but it's likely his future will be discussed after the Euros. Arsenal have now triggered the option to make David Raya's loan move from Brentford permanent [for a reported fee of £27 million]."

Ramsdale, who arrived from Sheffield United for close to £30 million in the summer of 2021, dropped down in his club's pecking order last season. He made 11 overall appearances, keeping three clean sheets.

David Raya, on the other hand, relished a breakout season during his loan spell at Mikel Arteta's side. The Spaniard helped them finish second in the Premier League table, keeping 20 shutouts and shipping 31 goals in 41 games across competitions in the process.
