Real Madrid secured a 2-0 win over Atalanta to lift the UEFA Super Cup at the Stadion Narodowy on Wednesday, August 14. Los Blancos were classy and dominant throughout the game, particularly in the second half.

La Dea gave a good account of themselves against one of the most star-studded teams in the history of the sport and will present a sizable threat to other European teams this season. Goals from Federico Valverde (59') and Kylian Mbappe (68') secured the victory for the UEFA Champions League holders, who also saw Vinicius Junior perform admirably in the game.

Tchouameni had a solid outing against Atalanta. He made no mistakes, completing 88% of his passes and winning all his tackles in the game.

The Uruguayan enjoyed a steller game in the middle of the park. He completed 85% of his passes to keep the midfield ticking along in his first competitive game since taking the No. 8 jersey following Toni Kroos' retirement. Valverde also scored the opening goal of the game.

Bellingham was fabulous for Los Blancos on his return to club football. The 21-year-old assisted Mbappe for the second goal of the game. In total he created three chances and completed 90% of his passes on the night.

Kylian Mbappe - 8.5/10

The Frenchman had a magical debut for Real Madrid, bagging a goal in his first appearance for the team. The former Paris Saint-Germain star looked threatening, albeit nervous, but showed his quality with a fine finish to wrap up the game.

Rodrygo - 7.5/10

Rodrygo had a fine game for Real Madrid and helped bind the front three with his industry and passing. He completed 97% of his passes and looks set to continue his fine contributions to the team this season.

Vinicius Junior - 9/10

The Brazilian was undoubtedly the player of the match. His dancing feet and electric performance lit the night up and enthralled the fans. His fabulous assist for the opening goal was a sight to behold. Vinicius created two chances and completed 80% of his passes in the game.
