Real Betis has shared a sarcastic X-rated post after Liverpool's Mohamed Salah jokingly indicated that he had signed a deal with the former. The Reds and the Spanish side are set to face each other in a pre-season friendly on Friday (July 26), giving some old teammates time to catch up.

Real Betis goalkeeper Adrian spent five seasons at Anfield before moving to La Liga this summer. As a result, it wasn't surprising to see that the shot-stopper was the one to be a part of this prank.

Posting an image of Salah holding up a Real Betis shirt beside Adrian, the club wrote on its official X handle (formerly Twitter):

"What the F***"

Together, the pair have played 21 matches across competitions for Liverpool. Despite this merely being a joke, there may still be concerns around the future of the Egypt international.

Fans in Merseyside will be well aware that the 32-year-old winger has entered the final year of his contract, much like key defender Virgil van Dijk. However, there seems to be good news for the club's supporters, with the Telegraph claiming that the Reds are willing to offer the duo a new deal (via Mirror).

According to this report, the pair are likely to receive short-term incentive-driven offers, given they are both over the age of 30. To date, Salah has made 349 appearances across competitions for Liverpool, bagging 211 goals and 89 assists in the process.

Wrexham co-owner and Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds cheekily offered Liverpool sensation Mohamed Salah the chance to join his League One outfit this summer. There is still uncertainty around the attacker's future, who has jetted out to the USA for pre-season preparations with his current employers.

Reynolds was completing a social media segment alongside Deadpool and Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman when the pair sang praises of the Egyptian. The 47-year-old hero said:

"Ryan Reynold, co-chairman, Wrexham AFC. Mo, you would be warmly embraced at the Racecourse Ground in north Wales."

So far in his career at Anfield, Salah has won the UEFA Champions League trophy and Premier League title once each, among other honors. Should he remain with the club beyond this summer, the winger will be expected to start on the right-hand side of the Reds front three.
