Manchester United fans have conveyed their happiness on X after they defeated Real Betis 3-2 in a pre-season friendly, winning the Snapdragon Cup in the process. The two sides faced each other at the Snapdragon Stadium on Wednesday, July 31.
The Red Devils found themselves trailing in the 15th minute when Iker Losada opened the scoring with a good finish. However, Marcus Rashford leveled the scores with an 18th-minute penalty after Amad Diallo was tripped in the box.
Diallo gave Manchester United the lead six minutes later with a powerful strike before Casemiro made it 3-1 with a close-range finish in the 31st minute. Real Betis threatened to make a second-half comeback when Diego Llorente netted in the 61st minute, but the Red Devils defended well to secure the win.
The LaLiga outfit had more possession with 52 percent of the ball but Manchester United were the more threatening side in attack, landing 12 shots in total with six being on target. Meanwhile, Real Betis managed 13 shots with three on target.

Manchester United bounced back from their disappointing 2-1 loss to Arsenal to win their second pre-season friendly with a 3-2 victory over Real Betis in the United States.
Amad Diallo continued his impressive pre-season form with an outstanding outing against the LaLiga outfit. He received the highest match rating (8.7), as per FotMob, during his 62 minutes on the pitch. The 22-year-old scored one goal, won his side a penalty, created three big chances, and completed 22 out of 24 passes with an accuracy of 92 percent. Moreover, he won eight duels and made three recoveries down the right wing.
Diallo will be aiming to maintain this form to cement his place in Manchester United's starting XI this season. The Red Devils next face Liverpool in a friendly on Saturday, August 3.
