Former Premier League defender-turned-pundit William Gallas believes Cristiano Ronaldo could end up signing for League 1 outfit Wrexham. The Portuguese superstar is one of the most recognizable faces on the planet and had a long and storied career in England.
Ronaldo came to global prominence at Manchester United before moving on to Real Madrid where he had a legendary run that saw him bag 451 goals. Now the most prolific goalscorer in the history of the sport with over 900 professional goals to his name.
Gallas believes the now 39-year-old could make a move down to the third tier of English football, telling Prime Casino:
"Anything is possible in football in the modern game, it wouldn’t surprise me because money talks and we’ve seen that nothing is impossible these days, You see young players going to Saudi Arabia when they would’ve have ever left Europe in the past."
The French defender continued:

"He invests in himself" - Former Wrexham keeper hails Cristiano Ronaldo
Former Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster has hailed Cristiano Ronaldo for the effort he puts into taking care of himself behind the scenes. The Portuguese icon continues to play professionally despite being 39.
Foster played alongside Ronaldo at Manchester United and the pair took to the pitch together on seven occasions. The Englishman hailed Ronaldo in an interview with the United Stand, saying:
"He invests in himself as his own business and makes sure he has got everything boxed off. So it’s all looked after. So he very rarely will pick up an injury, because of that exact fact."
Ronaldo is currently in his final season with Saudi Pro-League side Al-Nassr, with his contract with the club set to expire in the summer of 2025. He has played 73 games for the Saudi Pro League outfit, bagging 66 goals and 18 assists.
