Real Madrid rolled out the red carpet for Mbappe, 25, and the Bernabeu was sold out for his unveiling. They released exclusive footage of their new No.9 at the age of 13 being taken around the club's Valdebebas training facilities by the legendary Zinedine Zidane.

Kylian Mbappe has seemingly watched Cristiano Ronaldo's unveiling as he has replicated many similar moments. He kissed the club badge and threw his arms aloft similarly to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner when he was unveiled in 2009.

Kylian Mbappe was wowed after officially being unveiled as a new Real Madrid player. He spoke in front of tens of thousands of fans at the Bernabeu about fulfilling his dream of becoming a Los Blancos star (via France24):

"Wow... For years I've dreamed of playing for Real Madrid and today my dream has come true... I'm a happy boy. I'm going to give my life for this club."

Mbappe was pictured throughout his childhood wearing Madrid clothing and with posters of iconic players such as Ronaldo on his bedroom wall. It seemed inevitable that the seven-time Ligue 1 champion would eventually arrive at the Bernabeu during his career.

The Paris-born forward was first on a mission to achieve success in his homeland and with PSG. He did so, becoming their all-time top scorer with 256 goals and 108 assists in 308 games.

Mbappe's stock grew during his time at the Parc des Princes, and a move to Madrid seemed to be on the cards each year. He was expected to join Carlo Ancelotti's side in 2022 but shocked the world by signing a contract extension.

Still, this didn't stop either Madrid's quest of signing Mbappe or the attacker's desire to become a Los Merengues player. He is now official a player of the club of his dreams.
