Fans shared their opinions as Brazil bagged a 4-1 win against Paraguay on Friday, June 28, at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada to move to the cusp of the 2024 Copa America quarterfinals. They had opened their campaign with a goalless draw with Costa Rica.

After Lucas Paqueta missed a penalty in the 31st minute, Vinicius Junior netted the first goal for Brazil four minutes later with an assist from the West Ham United attacking midfielder.

The Selecao doubled their advantage in the 43rd minute through 20-year-old Savio followed by another from Vinicius moments before the end of the first half.

Omar Alderete pulled one back fotr Paraguay three minutes into the second half. Lucas Paqueta, though, bagged the fourth for the Selecao by netting a penalty in the 65th minute. Paraguay were left with 10 men after Andres Cubas received a straight red card in the 81st minute.

After scoring a stellar brace against Paraguay in Selecao Canarinho's second group-stage clash in 2024 Copa America, Vinicius Junior made a bold claim against CONMEBOL.

Following the 4-1 win, the Real Madrid forward said (via theMadridZone):

"It is very difficult to play in these stadiums with the referees always AGAINST us. The way CONMEBOL treats Brazil is very complicated."

Vinicius has netted five goals and provided as many assists in 32 appearances for his nation. The Selecao play Colombia next in their last 2024 Copa America group game at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Tuesday, July 2.
