Napoli striker Victor Osimhen's agent, Roberto Calenda has dismissed reports that the Serie A side were in talks with Chelsea over a swap deal. Some rumors have claimed that Romelu Lukaku could go the other way.

Roberto Calenda played down claims of Osimhen being involved in a possible swap deal. He claimed that all such reports were fake news. He said (via Fabrizio Romano):

"I read about 'fantasy exchanges' with Victor… as if he was a package to be delivered quickly. This package is the top scorer of the third Scudetto in the history of Napoli. Respect and stop fake news!"

Reports in The Athletic earlier on Tuesday claimed that Chelsea were in talks with Napoli to sign Osimhen this summer on loan. Journalist David Ornstein said that manager Antonio Conte is pushing the Serie A side to sign Lukaku, whom he previously managed at Inter Milan.

Chelsea target Victor Osimhen was keen on making Premier League move earlier this year

Victor Osimhen addressed Premier League rumors while in conversation with CBS Sports earlier this year. However, he did not give a clear answer on whether he will leave Napoli this summer

He said (via Eurosport):

"The rumour is going around about me linked with the Premier League. Of course, when you're one of the hottest strikers in the world you expect this type of thing, it's one of the biggest and best leagues in the world."
"For me, I'm with Napoli, signed a new contract and enjoying my time there with the team, at the end of the season I've already made up my mind, I already know what I want to do in my career. Since I've started, I've been the one making my own decisions on everything and it's working out well for me. I already know the next step I want to take so for now I just want to finish the season strong," he added.

Apart from Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are also said to be interested in signing Victor Osimhen this summer. However, the Ligue1 side are unwilling to activate the striker's €120 million release clause.
