Fans are unimpressed with Harry Kane being named in the starting XI of England's clash against Finland in the UEFA Nations League. The match is underway at Wembley Stadium (Tuesday, September 10).

Kane, who received the Three Lions' captain armband ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, recorded three goals in seven appearances at Euro 2024 while maintaining a 73.58% passing accuracy.

The Three Lions' clash against Finland in the UEFA Nations League marks Harry Kane's 100th appearance for his nation. In the 99 games so far, the 31-year-old has recorded 66 goals and 19 assists across competitions.

Lee Carsley on England's 2-0 win against Ireland

Lee Carsley shared his thoughts on England's 2-0 win against Ireland in their UEFA Nations League clash on Saturday (September 7), at Aviva Stadium.

Declan Rice scored the first goal just 11 minutes into the game. Jack Grealish netted the second goal with an assist from the Arsenal midfielder in the 26th minute.

Following the victory, Lee Carsley expressed his satisfaction with the squad's performance, claiming they have "some real talent." The interim coach said (via Metro):

"I thought it was good in parts. I think you’ve seen some of the things that we’ve tried to do. The lads have got to take a lot of credit, well all of the credit. I think we’ve shown that we have some real talent. We can be really pleased with the clean sheet as well."
