Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have sent a hilarious message to Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah. Reynolds urged Salah to join League 1 side Wrexham.
Salah has been instrumental to Liverpool's success in recent years under Jurgen Klopp's management. The Egyptian forward has helped them win the Premier League, the Champions League, and other accolades.
However, now that the German boss has departed Anfield, there have been questions about Salah's future. His contract is set to expire next year, and talks of an extension are yet to take place.
Ryan Reynolds, co-chairman of Wrexham FC, has made an amusing proposition to Salah, asking him to join the League 1 side. During an interview, Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were discussing which Premier League footballer the latter would be.
Showing his appreciation for being compared to the Liverpool star, Jackman said:
"Mo Salah... I mean to be even in the same sentence as you is incredibly cool and I went to see you, by the way, when we were filming [and you were] playing against Crystal Palace. And I think you're awesome, and I think you're amazing, and please, please respond to my DM's."
Reynolds added:
"Mo you would be warmly embraced at the Racecourse Ground in North Wales."
Jackman then stated:
"You wouldn't get the full 90 mins. Probably like 20 mins every game."
To which, Reynolds replied:
"All we need is five. Think about it."

Liverpool icon Didi Hamann names 'brilliant' Premier League star as ideal Mo Salah replacement
Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann believes Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon would be a great addition to the Reds' squad this summer. The pundit has backed Gordon to be the perfect replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Gordon enjoyed an excellent campaign last season for the Magpies. He scored 12 goals and provided 11 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions and Hamann believes Gordon would be the perfect signing for the Reds.
Hamann hailed the England international as Newcastle's best player and said:
"No one really knew what to expect when Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah, on the other hand, we've seen Anthony Gordon have a huge impact in the Premier League. He did so at Everton even when they were struggling and after a tough start at Newcastle he has battled through and he's one of their best players now."
"Obviously it depends on what Salah does. It's been said for the last few years that it's his last season and that he's going to go in the summer. So obviously we need to find out and see what's happening but I think Gordon would be a brilliant signing because obviously going forward if you've got pace, it just changes games."
Mohamed Salah has made nearly 349 appearances since his arrival at Liverpool in 2017. In that time, the Egypt international has scored 211 goals and provided 89 assists.
