Chelsea star David Datro Fofana condemned racism after a video of the Argentina national team singing racist chants surfaced. The Ivorian striker has issued a message on his social media in response to Enzo Fernandez & Co.'s chants.

After their victory, Enzo Fernandez went live on Instagram and the Argentina squad could be seen singing a racist chant aimed at France that originated from the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
This has not sat well with Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea teammates, with some reportedly infuriated with the Argentine's actions. In response to this video, David Datro Fofana has taken to social media to send a strong message against racism.
The Ivory Coast international posted a picture of himself on his Instagram story with a caption that read:
"The football that I like is multi-ethnic. Racism in all its forms should be condemned in the strongest possible terms. These acts have no place in football or even anywhere else. This fight really needs to be taken seriously by everyone involved in this sport."
According to reports, the French Football Federation (FFF) have issued a statement confirming their intention to file a lawsuit against the Argentine FA in light of these chants.

Enzo Fernandez has issued an apology after his recent indiscretions, admitting that there's no excuse for the words used in the song. The Chelsea midfielder also affirmed that he stands against all forms of discrimination.
In a post on his official X account, Fernandez wrote:
"I want to apologise sincerely for a video posted on my Instagram channel during the national team celebrations. The song includes highly offensive language and there is absolutely no excuse for these words.
"I stand against discrimination in all forms and apologise for getting caught up in the euphoria of our Copa America celebrations. That video, that moment, those words, do not reflect my beliefs or my character. I am truly sorry."
Other Chelsea stars, however, have found his actions rather jarring. Wesley Fofana took to social media to condemn his actions. He wrote on X:
"Football in 2024: uninhibited racism"
Meanwhile, other Chelsea teammates, including Fofana, Malo Gusto, and Axel Disasi have reportedly unfollowed Enzo Fernandez's Instagram account in light of the video.
Nicolas Jackson, however, has posted a message on his social media in support of the Argentina international.
