Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has been caught on camera engaging in an altercation with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and Gabriel Jesus during their Premier League fixture on Sunday (September 22).

The Gunners drew 2-2 against the Cityzens in an entertaining clash at the Etihad Stadium this weekend. City drew first blood after Haaland found the back of the net within the first nine minutes.

Riccardo Calafiori made his first start for the north Londoners and scored his first Arsenal goal, an extraordinary finish from outside the box. Gabriel Magalhaes' header in added time put the Gunners 2-1 up before the break.

Arsenal were then reduced to ten men after Leandro Trossard picked up a second yellow card and was sent off just before half-time. While the north Londoners put in a massive defensive effort, John Stones found the equalizer for City well into stoppage time.

Things got heated between players from each side after Stones' goal when Erling Haaland cannoned into Thomas Partey from the resulting kick-off. After the final whistle blew, the Norwegian could not help but take a shot at Mikel Arteta. He said (via Sky Sports):

"Stay humble eh, stay humble."

This did not sit well with Gabriel Jesus, who confronted Erling Haaland over his comment. The former Borussia Dortmund forward took offense and replied:

"What? What? Talking about what? I wasn't talking you f***ing clown! What are you talking about? Get the f**k away, f***ing clown!"

The Gunners will next face Bolton Wanderers in the EFL Cup on September 25.

Erling Haaland equals Cristiano Ronaldo's record in Arsenal draw

Erling Haaland has matched Cristiano Ronaldo's record for being the fastest player to reach the 100-goal mark with his strike in Manchester City's draw against Arsenal.

Prior to this weekend's Premier League showdown, the Norway international had 99 goals to his name in 103 games for the Cityzens. Haaland had the opportunity to set a new record by scoring against Inter Milan in their mid-week Champions League clash. However, the 24-year-old failed to find the back of the net.

Having opened the scoring in the draw against Arsenal, Erling Haaland scored 100 goals in 105 games for City, equalling Ronaldo's record for Real Madrid.

Haaland has had a stellar start to the 2024-25 Premier League campaign for Manchester City. The superstar striker has already scored ten goals in City's first five league fixtures. He also bagged back-to-back hat-tricks against Ipswich Town and West Ham United.
