Meanwhile, Los Blancos have presented Endrick at the Santiago Bernabeu. Elsewhere, the Spanish champions don't have an agreement in place with a Bayern Munich star.

On that note, let's look at the major Real Madrid transfer stories from July 28, 2024.

Endrick has insisted that he always dreamt of joining Real Madrid. The 18-year-old was officially unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.

Endrick is one of the best young talents in the world and was wanted by multiple clubs after bursting onto the scene at Palmeiras. However, Los Blancos won the race for his signature, striking a €60m deal with the Brazilian club.

Speaking at his presentation, Endrick insisted that he is living his dream.

“Good afternoon everyone. I want to thank everyone for coming to the Bernabeu. I didn’t expect all this, so many people. The fans are crazy. I’m very happy, because since I was a kid I’ve always been a Real Madrid fan and today I’m going to play for Real Madrid. I’m here and I’m very happy," said Endrick.

He continued:

“I don’t have words to describe what I feel, because I always wanted to be here. It’s a dream and it’s come true. And now, let’s all sing a song: 1, 2, 3…. Hala Madrid!"

Endrick could struggle for chances under Carlo Ancelotti, who has already added Kylian Mbappe to his impressive attacking arsenal.

Los Blancos don’t have agreement with Alphonso Davies

Real Madrid haven't agreed personal terms with Alphonso Davies for a Bosman move in 2025, according to Bild. The Canadian left-back has entered the final year of his contract with Bayern Munich and hasn't signed a new deal yet.

Los Blancos are long-term admirers of the 23-year-old and recent reports suggested that the two parties have already agreed to a Bosman move in 2025. However, it now appears that is not the case.

The Bavarians remain keen to keep hold of Davies, but are least pleased with his wage demands. The player is reportedly holding out for an annual salary of €16m and a €15m signing-on bonus.

The Bundesliga giants believe the 23-year-old is trying to force a move to the Santiago Bernabeu and as such, renewal talks have come to a standstill. As of now, the Canadian looks set to stay at the Allianz Arena for another season before his contract expires in 2025.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper David James has advised Trent Alexander-Arnold to stay at Anfield amid interest from Real Madrid. The English right-back has entered the final year of his contract with the Reds and hasn't signed a new deal yet.

Recent reports have suggested that Los Blancos are keeping a close eye on his situation. Alexander-Arnold could be a fine successor for Dani Carvajal, who is already on the wrong side of 30.

Speaking to Fairbettingsites, James admitted that his countryman will be tempted by a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

“For an individual, though, there are times where you figure out you should be getting more out of what you’re doing. Having had suffered with plenty of criticism throughout the last few years – and this becomes a career thing rather than a momentary thing – I could understand if Trent wanted to go elsewhere like Real Madrid and look for a new challenge,” said James.

James went on to urge Alexander-Arnold to stay at Anfield and etch his name in the club's history.

“There’s something about Jurgen Klopp leaving which could be seen as a slight line in the sand. I don’t personally want him to leave, but I could understand how someone could say that this new era at Liverpool isn’t the world he’s used to," said James.

He continued:

"It will ultimately boil down to a conversation he has with Arne Slot. I’d rather he stays at Liverpool because if he’s going to be great at Real Madrid, then why not be great again for Liverpool?”

The 25-year-old has appeared 310 times for the Merseyside club till date and has been a key part of their recent rise under former manager Jurgen Klopp.
