According to a report on Marca, Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz is set to return early to the team following his injury setback. The Moroccan international was injured last month in the Spanish giant's 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad in the 23rd minute.
The midfielder was expected to be sidelined for up to three months with an abductor injury, however, he could make a return in three weeks according to the report.
Diaz has been with Los Blancos since 2019 when he arrived from English giants, Manchester City for a reported fee of €17 million. He spent two loan spells with AC Milan that saw him win the Serie A title in 2021/22 and contribute 18 goals and 15 assists in 6995 minutes across 124 games.
Real Madrid will be keen to welcome the midfielder back into the fold and see him add to his 2793 minutes spread across 71 games that have borne 15 goals and 13 assists for the reigning La Liga and UEFA Champions League holders.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has added his voice to the calls to reduce the amount of fixtures players have to play in the footballing season. The recent restructuring of the football calendar could see players play up to 85 games and increase their chances of picking up injuries.
Los Blancos star Dani Carvajal previously backed Manchester City star Rodri in his complaints about the fixture congestion. Both players have recently been sidelined with serious injuries this season.
Speaking to the press in September, the legendary Italian manager said via ESPN:
"Football needs to reflect because the aim is to try to play less games to have less injuries. If that leads to lowering salaries, the aim is for players to play less games so I don't think the players will have any problem to lower their wages if they play less.
"The complaints of coaches and players is not going to change this season's calendar. It's important to reflect on this and the players more so because they are getting tired. We have to analyse this. The players are thinking about changes in the future."
It remains to be seen if the Real Madrid manager's concerns lead to some change in the fixture list. He will lead his side out on October 19 in La Liga when they visit Celta Vigo.
