Alessandro Bastoni's agent Tullio Tinti has claimed that Real Madrid made an enquiry about his client. However, he said that Inter Milan will not sell the defender this summer.

Los Blancos could be in the market for a centre-back this summer after missing out on Leny Yoro. The Lille defender had his heart set on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu but the Spanish giants didn't want to pay the asking price, with just one year remaining on his contract. Manchester United then paid €62 million and signed him.

Real Madrid have since been linked with a number of defenders across Europe, including Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni. His agent Tullio Tinti recently said (via Madrid Xtra):

“Real Madrid asked for Bastoni recently. Inter want to win & they’re not gonna sell their top player like Bastoni.”

Bastoni has been a key player for Inter since arriving from Parma in 2019. He's made 201 appearances, helping them win two Serie A titles, among other honors. He helped them keep the tightest defense in Serie A last season as they conceded just 22 goals in 38 games en route to the title.

Bastoni's contract with the Nerazzurri expires in 2028 and as per Transfermarkt, his market value is €70 million.

Nacho Fernandez shares an emotional message at his Real Madrid farewell

Nacho Fernandez bid farewell to Real Madrid this summer, ending his 23-year stay at the club. He joined as a 10-year-old and made 364 senior appearances, becoming the joint-most decorated player in the club's history, tied with Luka Modric at 26 trophies.

While he announced his exit last month, Los Blancos arranged a farewell for him earlier this week. During the farewell, he said (via Managing Madrid):

"Imagine how it feels for me, beginning working my way through the ranks of this club, ending as the captain winning the 15th Champions League title. Now I say goodbye knowing that I have used all my energy and ability. The ending is the most beautiful one I could have imagined. Real Madrid will always be our team and our home.”
“I only ask one thing, that you remember me as a youth product who gave everything for our club at every moment, in every place. From now, I will celebrate every goal. Hala Madrid.”

Nacho captained the Merengues to the Champions League, La Liga, and Supercopa de Espana title last season. He has now joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah.
