Dani Olmo on joining Barcelona

Dani arrives at Camp Nou after a four-year tenure at RB Leipzig from 2020–2024. Upon joining the Catalan club, the Spanish midfielder spoke to their social media and gave his first statement. He said (via Barca Blaugranes):

"I’m here to win every title possible. We are Barça and we must compete for everything. We have the team, we have the players, we have the staff. We are going for it all."
“I am very happy, it’s a dream come true. I’m very happy to return home, with my family and with national teammates. I’m every excited to start all of it. The negotiations were intense, but that’s normal. Everything was done very fast with Leipzig and I’m also very thankful to them. Now a new chapter begins and we’re going for it all."
“This was my dream but Barça also made a huge effort to bring me here, I have to value that. I’m proud that they wanted me here," added Olmo.

Barcelona have reportedly set Dani Olmo's buyout clause at €500 million.
