Real Madrid Unveils New Signing Kylian Mbappe

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez sent a message to the club's fans ahead of Kylian Mbappe's official presentation. He asserted that they work every season towards fulfilling the fans' dreams.

After a transfer saga that went on for years, Mbappe finally joined the Spanish giants earlier this summer. He was also linked with them in 2022 but he chose to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. He eventually left the Parisian club as a free agent this summer and joined Los Blancos.

Kylian Mbappe was officially presented as a Real Madrid player at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, July 16. Ahead of the presentation, club president Florentino Perez sent the club's fans a message, saying (via Madrid Zone):

"Madridistas, I want you to know something very important. You are the heart of this club. Which is why, our main goal every season is to fulfill your dreams."

Florentino Perez became Los Blancos' president in 2000 and has seen them lift a record 35 titles. He overtook Santiago Bernabeu's legacy of 33 trophies and also marked his seventh UEFA Champions League trophy earlier this year.

Zinedine Zidane's message to Kylian Mbappe after Real Madrid move

France legend Zinedine Zidane shared a heartfelt message after Kylian Mbappe's move to Real Madrid was announced earlier this summer. The Real Madrid legend said:

“Well done Kylian. Congratulations for everything you have done, for what you do, who you are, and keep going. I’m a fan, so we will keep following you and admiring you.”

He asserted that Mbappe will make history at the club, saying:

"Mbappe is here now. He will make history at the club and I think he’ll surpass all the great French players, including myself. Looking at him, I think he will surpass the others."

Zinedine Zidane was also present during Kylian Mbappe's presentation on Tuesday, July 16.

The French forward comes into the new season on the back of a poor UEFA Euro 2024. He managed just one goal and one assist as Les Bleus were eliminated in the semi-final against eventual champions Spain.

Mbappe will, hence, be keen to start pre-season with Los Blancos and bounce back into form.
