Liverpool fans reacted on social media after photos of their club players undergoing training with special equipment surfaced online. The Reds have begun preparations for the 2024-25 season, and new manager Arne Slot is putting his players through some advanced training sessions.

In a post on X by ESPN UK, Liverpool goalkeepers can be seen putting on a special pair of goggles in training. According to the post, these goggles help to enhance players' reactions, hand-eye coordination, and technical skills by reducing the sensory input they receive.

Football has massively evolved with new training technologies and systems being designed to boost players' productivity and output. Goalkeepers are meant to be focused, alert, and reactive between the sticks and this special equipment reportedly helps to improve these abilities.

Liverpool fans are looking toward a new regime with Slot at the helm of affairs. They were pleased to see the Dutch manager taking positive steps in building a formidable team as can be seen on their reactions on X.

One fan wrote that whilst the Reds are focused on building a formidable team, rivals Manchester United are busy roping in players:

"While united are busy signing players Liverpool are assembling the power rangers."

A second fan commented that with the special equipment, the Reds will be unstoppable in the coming season:

"Heard it’s the first of its kind in EPL. There is definitely no catching us next season"

A third fan appreciated the training session, confident that the Merseyside club will be one of the hottest sides in Europe in the coming season:

"Next season we cooking," the fan posted.

Below are other reactions to Arne Slot's special training session:

Liverpool's first set of competitive games under Arne Slot

Liverpool fans will hope to kick off the new campaign with a positive result under new manager Arne Slot. The Reds bade farewell to Jurgen Klopp at the end of the previous season after the German tactician ended his nine-year stay at Anfield.

The first sets of games in the new season will be crucial for Slot as the results could determine how he is received by the fans. The Reds will kick start their Premier League campaign with a clash against newly promoted Ipswich Town at Portman Road on August 17.

On Matchday 2, they welcome Brentford to Anfield (August 25) before traveling to Old Trafford to play long-time rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford (September 1).
