Manchester United are looking to offload Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen this summer, according to Caught Offside. The report adds that Anderlecht and Ajax are among the clubs interested in signing Eriksen, with the Red Devils willing to accept as little as €5 million for the 32-year-old.

The former Tottenham Hotspur man’s contract is set to expire in 2025, and United are eager to make some profit on a player that they signed for free. According to the report, Belgian side Anderlecht have already contacted Eriksen’s entourage, with the Denmark international keeping his options open.

Ajax are looking to sign their former player on a loan deal, although United are looking to make a permanent sale either this summer or in January.

Erik ten Hag’s side are also reportedly looking to sell Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, who has underwhelmed since his big-money move from Real Madrid in 2022. The club are looking to inject some youth into their midfield to pair alongside academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte and Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana have been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer

Eriksen joined Manchester United in the summer of 2022 as a free agent after leaving Brentford. He has scored three goals and registered 13 assists in 72 games across competitions for the Old Trafford side.

Fabrizio Romano claims Bayern Munich defender is giving “total priority to Manchester United”

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has said that Bayern Munich full-back Noussair Mazraoui is giving “total priority” to a move to Manchester United this summer despite interest from other clubs.

Romano said that Serie A champions Inter Milan and Premier League side West Ham United are also interested in signing the Morocco international. However, he added that Mazraoui has decided to join the Red Devils and is not considering the other options.

“First of all, Noussair Mazraoui has decided to give total priority to Manchester United. He would love to go to Man United, he wants Man United, so Mazraoui is waiting for Man United,” Romano said.

The Italian journalist added that Mazraoui’s move to Old Trafford can only happen if the club are able to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

“The agreement on personal terms will not be a problem. The crucial step is what happens with Wan-Bissaka. United will only bring a new right-back in if Wan-Bissaka leaves,” he added.

Mazraoui is keen on reuniting with his former manager Erik ten Hag, who gave him his first-team debut at Ajax in the 2017-18 season. The two won six trophies in five seasons together in Amsterdam and reached the UEFA Champions League semi-final in 2019.
