LFP legal committee has ordered PSG to pay Kylian Mbappe his salaries and bonuses - Reports

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have been ordered by The Ligue de Football Professionnel's legal committee to clear Kylian Mbappe's dues, according to Le Parisien via Madrid Xtra. The French superstar left the Parc des Princes this summer on a Bosman move to join Real Madrid.

Los Blancos have been hot on the 25-year-old's heels for a while and their plans to sign him were thwarted by the Ligue 1 giants on two previous occasions. However, the La Liga champions finally managed to secure his services following the expiry of his contract with PSG at the end of last season.

Mbappe arrived in Paris from Monaco in 2017. The French superstar initially joined on a season-long loan, before it was made permanent for a reported fee of €180 million. He went on to amass 308 appearances for the Parisians across competitions, scoring 256 goals and setting up 108 more.

The Ligue 1 champions were eager to keep hold of their prized asset but failed to convince him to sign a new deal. Kylian Mbappe had his heart set on joining Real Madrid and finally realized his dream this summer.

PSG heading for war with Kylian Mbappe?

The French superstar has registered three goals from five games across competitions for Los Blancos. While he hasn't enjoyed the explosive start everyone expected, the Spanish champions remain relaxed about the situation.

Real Madrid believe the 25-year-old has all the ingredients to be successful at the Santiago Bernabeu. They are convinced that he will come good and power them to the pinnacle of success. However, they will also hope his conflict with PSG is addressed soon so he can concentrate on football.

Kylian Mbappe is yet to receive approximately €55 million in salaries and bonuses from the Parisians. The 25-year-old approached the LFP commision and recently rejected their mediation offer to address the issue.

Mbappe's entourage apparently sat down with the Ligue 1 giants' representative earlier this week. Following the meeting, the player's camp brought the commission's attention to the fact that he hasn't received three months' wages and one-third of a loyalty bonus.

However, according to the latest update, PSG have no desire to agree to their former player's demands. The Ligue 1 champions insist Mbappe agreed to relinquish his bonuses when he was kept out of the team at the start of the 2023-24 season.

Only after agreeing to the Parisians' demands was the 25-year-old allowed to be reintegrated into Luis Enrique's team. PSG believe they own Kylian Mbappe nothing and are planning to take further legal action against the player.
