Jude Bellingham sent a welcome message to Kylian Mbappe after the Frenchman was presented as a Real Madrid player at the Santiago Bernabeau on Tuesday, July 16. The 25-year-old forward joined Los Blancos at the beginning of June 2024 after being linked with a move to the Spanish giants for the past few years.

Following his presentation at Real Madrid, Mbappe made a post on social media, stating that his "childhood dream" had come true. The caption read:

"Today was an unforgettable day for me and my family. I made my childhood dream come true. Lots of emotions !!!!!! Thank you for the affection and love for many years. Very happy and proud to be part of the big family @realmadrid I can't wait to start playing for the best club in the world. ¡HALA MADRID!"

Jude Bellingham commented on Mbappe's post on Instagram:

"Welcome mate."

Mbappe arrives at Real Madrid after a six-year tenure at Paris Saint-Germain, during which he became the Ligue 1 club's all-time leading scorer with 256 goals in 308 games.

The Frenchman is a boyhood Real Madrid fan and has stated his excitement about the opportunity to play for Los Blancos alongside players like Bellingham and Vinicius Jr.

Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham were not included in the Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament. France were eliminated from the tournament's semi-final by Spain, while England were defeated by La Roja in the final.

The French captain recorded one goal and two assists in this year's European Championship while the English midfielder netted two goals and provided one assist. However, neither player was named in the Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament.

The Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament included Mike Maignan (France), Marc Cucurella (Spain), William Saliba (France), Manuel Akanji (Switzerland), Kyle Walker (England), Fabian Ruiz (Spain), Dani Olmo (Spain), Rodri (Spain), Nico Williams (Spain), Jamal Musiala (Germany) and Lamine Yamal (Spain).
