Kylian Mbappe shared a message to his fans after being unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday (July 16). The France international signed for the Spanish giants after his contract at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) expired this summer.

With the conclusion of Euro 2024, Los Blancos have seemingly picked the perfect time to unveil their blockbuster signing. Speaking about this big move in his career, the 2018 World Cup winner said (via Fabrizio Romano):

"My dream came true today. I'm happy, I'm really happy. It feels incredible to be here. I've slept many years dreaming of Real Madrid and now... it's reality."

He added:

"I see my mom in tears... it's an incredible day for me. Let me say thanks to Florentino Perez."

Mbappe is considered to be one of the best players in the world today. However, he's coming into pre-season after a rather poor European Championships, where his only goal came from the penalty spot.

Regardless, he's got the numbers to back his ability, having notched up 256 strikes and 108 assists for PSG across competitions before moving to Santiago Bernabeu. He's won the Ligue 1 title on six occasions, among other honors, at the Parc des Princes.

However, one trophy that has eluded Mbappe has been the UEFA Champions League. With him joining the 15-time Champions League winner, it may not be too long before the Frenchman adds this trophy to his list.

Kylian Mbappe also sent a message to the children present as he was being unveiled as a Real Madrid player. In doing so, the 25-year-old seemed quite emotional.

With the former Monaco star now in the Spanish capital, fans will be excited to see him in action alongside superstars Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior. Mbappe said (via Standard):

"I'd like to send a message to all the kids that are here today. I was just like you, I had this dream and today it comes true. I can tell you that if you have the passion, you can achieve your dreams."

Mbappe is expected to play down the middle for Los Blancos when the season gets underway. Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo will be the players who will likely play on either side of the Frenchman.
