"I don’t sell dreams but solid realities" - Club president opens up on pursuit of Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood 

Lazio president Claudio Lotito chose not to disclose much about his club's pursuit of Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood. The forward is all but certain to leave the Red Devils this summer.

Greenwood is reportedly also wanted by Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and Napoli this summer after an impressive loan spell with Getafe last season. The 22-year-old bagged 10 goals and six assists in 36 games for the Spanish side.

The Red Devils are reportedly keen to sell the forward this summer and are demanding a fee of around £35 million to let him leave. But Lazio offered £20 million and a 50 per cent sell-on clause, according to Italian daily Il Messaggero (via Calciomercato.com).

Speaking to Italian news outlet Tutto Mercato about potentially signing the Englishman, the Lazio club president said:

“I have always said that I don’t sell dreams but solid realities. I try to translate dreams into concrete facts.”

Lazio will reportedly keep monitoring the forward's situation, with multiple clubs interested in his services.
