Former Manchester United star storms out of Netherlands training following clash with Arsenal's Jurrien Timber

Former Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst left the Netherlands national team training session on Sunday afternoon after clashing with Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber. The Dutch striker was at the receiving end of a challenge from his teammate, which left him visibly annoyed.

During the training session after their emphatic 5-2 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina, Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber tackled new Ajax man Wout Weghorst. The latter was unhappy with the challenge, which he seemingly deemed dangerous for a training session.

National team coach Ronald Koeman tried to calm the former Manchester United striker down with reports claiming that the Dutch manager told Weghorst:

"And now it’s done!"

However, Weghorst was not impressed as the 32-year-old took off his shirt and threw it to the ground, walked out of the training session, and left on his bike. Here is a video of the incident:

After Weghorst left the training session, Ronald Koeman reportedly said (via SPORTbible):

"He has no injury."

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho eyed by Galatasaray as move for Manchester United Casemiro fails – Reports

Galatasaray are reportedly eyeing Arsenal midfielder Jorginho after they failed in their pursuit of Manchester United midfielder Casemiro. Having signed Victor Osimhen on loan from Napoli, the Turkish club are keen on adding more reinforcements and have until Friday before the transfer window shuts.

Galatasaray initially turned their attention to Casemiro, as they reportedly offered the Brazilian to join them on a season-long loan. The former Real Madrid man, however, turned down their proposal as he is eager to stay at Old Trafford and fight for his place at Manchester United.

According to The Sun, Galatasaray have now turned their attention towards Arsenal’s Jorginho. However, the Gunners are determined to keep him and will not entertain any offers from Galatasaray.

Jorginho is yet to feature in any of Arsenal’s Premier League matches this season and has his contract at the Emirates expiring in 2025, having signed a short-term extension in May 2024. Despite being an unused substitute in the 2024-25 season so far, Mikel Arteta still values the experience of the Italian midfielder.

Additionally, Declan Rice will not be part of the Arsenal squad against Tottenham Hotspur next week Sunday after he received a red card against Brighton. Given Rice's absence, the Gunners are expected to keep hold of Jorginho this week.
