Fans online have slammed England star Phil Foden after their 2-1 defeat against Greece on Thursday, October 10. They suffered a disappointing loss at the Wembley Stadium in League B Group 2 clash in the UEFA Nations League.
Foden started the clash against Greece and played 72 minutes. He had 32 touches, completed 24/28 passes, completed 0/1 long balls, made 0 key passes but won 2/2 ground duels. Fans were unimpressed with his performance and shared their thoughts on X.

Foden has scored four goals and provided eight assists in 42 games for the Three Lions. His last goal contribution for the side came as an assist in a 3-1 win over Scotland in a friendly in September 2023.
Lee Carsley suffers first defeat as England's interim manager
Following the Three Lions' disappointing 2-1 defeat against Spain in the UEFA Euro 2024 final, Gareth Southgate was sacked as the manager. Lee Carlsey was then appointed as an interim manager. He started well with wins over Ireland and Finland last month.
However, his side stumbled against Greece on Thursday. The Piratiko were the much better side at Wembley despite the host dominating possession at 64%. Greece had 12 attempts on goal with three being on target while Carsley's side had 12 attempts with two on target.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 49th minute through Vangelis Pavlidis. He put the ball in the back of the net again in the 83rd minute but it was ruled out for offside. Jude Bellingham restored parity in the 87th minute but Pavlidis scored the winner for Greece in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
The Three Lions will next face Finland away on October 13 while Greece will face Ireland at home later that day.
