Christian Pulisic has reacted with a hilarious comment to fellow US men's national team star Weston McKennie. The Juventus midfielder shared a picture of a t-shirt that showcased himself and Pulisic, leading the AC Milan winger to retort with a funny response.

Weston McKennie posted a series of photos on Instagram, providing fans with a hint of how his summer has gone so far. He can be seen working on his strength with a massive tire in one picture, playing golf in a video, and dressed up for a wedding in another picture.

Other pictures and videos showed the midfielder training in the boxing ring, spending time at a kids' event, and hanging out with friends. One picture, in particular, revealed a picture of him with Christian Pulisic.

The AC Milan winger responded in the comment section:

"Did we just become best friends?"

The duo notably play together for the US men's national team, while they ply their club trade in Serie A. While Pulisic plays for Milan, McKennie turns out for Juventus. However, things could change, as the Juve midfielder could be out of Turin by the end of this summer.

Reports (via GOAL) have revealed that the Bianconeri have asked him to train separately from the first team. They don't plan to extend his contract, which ends next year and they are looking to sell him this summer, rather than let him leave for free next summer.

When Christian Pulisic opened up about his closeness with Weston McKennie

Ahead of the USA's participation in Copa America 2024, Christian Pulisic spoke about his life and football in an interview with GOAL. During the interview, he notably spoke about his USMNT teammate Weston McKennie, saying:

"I guess I'm a pretty private person, so I wouldn't say that I want people to know more about me like, say Tyler [Adams] and Weston [McKennie] obviously do. I'm OK with people not knowing anything about me, but that doesn't mean that it's not good to ask sometimes about how other people are."

The duo were unable to push the USMNT into the knockout stages of the Copa America 2024, as they crashed out in the group stages. They were widely seen as dark horses with the potential to go far. However, after a 2-0 win in their first group game over Bolivia, they failed to continue in fine form. A loss against Panama and Uruguay saw them get kicked out of the competition on home soil, while Argentina reclaimed the title.
