Chelsea are prepared to sanction the sale of Brazilian youngster Angelo Gabriel just a year after signing him from Santos, as per reports. The Blues are keen to sell a number of players this summer in order to trim their severely bloated squad.

Brazilian sensation Angelo was on the radar of Spanish giants Barcelona when the Blues jumped in to land him in the summer of 2023. The teenager featured and impressed in pre-season ahead of the 2023-24 season, and was sent out on loan to Strasbourg until the end of the season.

BBC reporter Nizaar Kinsella has reported from the Blues camp that they are actively looking to sell Angelo despite his impressive performances on loan. The club has received a loan offer from Besiktas for the 19-year-old but will only consider permanent bids for the Brazil U-20 international.

Enzo Maresca barely played the teenager in pre-season as he found himself behind Noni Madueke in the pecking order. The club's signing of Pedro Neto and the return to action of Cole Palmer have further put into doubt the place of Angelo in the team.

FIFA's regulations stipulate that no single team can have more than six players on international loans, hence Chelsea's decision to try and sell Angelo. The teenager recorded three assists in 21 league appearances for Strasbourg before his season was cut short by a hernia injury in March.

Chelsea spent £13 million to land Angelo from Santos last summer and will be willing to consider bids above this amount for the teenager. The club may, however, soften their stance if no suitable bids are received by the end of the window.

Chelsea in talks with newly-promoted side over transfer of striker: Reports

Chelsea are in talks with Ipswich Town over the transfer of striker Armando Broja to the newly promoted side, as per East Anglia Daily Times. The Albanian striker has fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge and is set for a permanent move away.

Broja struggled to impress under Mauricio Pochettino in the 2023-24 season, leading him to move to Fulham on loan in January. While on loan, he made only eight appearances for the west London side before returning to his parent club this summer.

Chelsea and Ipswich Town have done business this summer with Omari Hutchinson, and the transfer of Broja is a possibility. The Blues may have to accept a loan move with a buy option for the 22-year-old if he is to join the Tractor Boys this summer.
