Chelsea and Manchester United are locked in a battle with Tottenham Hotspur for the services of Vanderson, according to Caught Offside. The Brazilian right-back has caught the eye with Monaco in recent times and was linked with an exit over the summer.

The 23-year-old registered three goals and one assist from 23 appearances across competitions last season for the Ligue 1 club. While Monaco have a knack for offloading some of their best talents, Youssouf Fofana's departure to AC Milan this summer perhaps prompted them to keep hold of Vanderson.

The Brazilian has already registered one assist from three games this season and has turned heads in the Premier League. The Blues are concerned about Reece James' fitness woes, as the Englishman has been pegged with constant injuries.

James missed 38 games across competitions for the London giants last season and is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury. There have also been isolated reports of interest from Real Madrid, although a concrete approach hasn't materialized so far. While Chelsea have Malo Gusto on their books, Vanderson could add more depth to the position.

However, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United also have their eyes on the 23-year-old and are likely to be in the mix for his signature in 2025.

The Red Devils parted ways with Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer and replaced him with Noussair Mazraoui. The Moroccan right back arrived from Bayern Munich and is also capable of filling in at left-back. Mazraoui has made a decent start to life at Old Trafford, already appearing in all games in the Premier League this season.

Manchester United also have Diogo Dalot for the right-back role, but could prefer another specialist for the position. Vanderson's attacking adventure could add another dimension to Erik ten Hag's team. The Brazilian's arrival could permanently push Dalot to the left-back slot to cover for Luke Shaw.

Monaco reportedly want €35-40m for the 23-year-old, who is under contract at Stade Louis II until 2028. Chelsea have shown the strongest interest in the player, although Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur also remain in the race.

Spurs already have Pedro Porro in their squad, with the Portuguese excelling under Ange Postecoglou. However, the Australian manager is apparently keen to add more competition to places in his squad and has his eyes on Vanderson.
