Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly vying for the signature of Real Madrid target Alphonso Davies, with Bayern Munich's star full-back now in the final year of his contract.

Real Madrid appear to be leading the race for the 23-year-old’s services but could face stiff competition from the Premier League. Both City and Arsenal are considering offers for the Canadian international, given the potential to secure his signing on a free transfer, according to a report by HITC.

Davies has previously turned down multiple contract extension offers from Bayern Munich, placing him in a position to negotiate a pre-contract with any club starting in January. Real Madrid reportedly engaged in talks with Bayern during the summer transfer window but were unwilling to meet the Bavarian club’s valuation at the time.

Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti had identified Davies as a key target, especially after the club failed to sign Leny Yoro from Lille. He eventually joined Manchester United, leaving Real Madrid still on the lookout for defensive reinforcements.

While Davies has expressed interest in moving to Madrid, Premier League clubs such as Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool are all eager to make their case for the player. HITC reports that these English clubs are aware of Madrid’s current advantage but hope to provide Davies with an enticing alternative.

As January approaches, the battle for Davies is expected to intensify with the pre-contract window opening up.

Arsenal keen on Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni as Spanish giants consider summer sale: Reports

Reports from Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle) suggest that Real Madrid may be open to selling Aurelien Tchouameni next summer, with Arsenal among the clubs likely to enter the chase for the French midfielder.

The 24-year-old is currently regarded as a key figure at the Santiago Bernabeu, but the Spanish giants could be tempted to part ways with him to fund a move for Manchester City star Rodri.

Madrid are reportedly considering a strategy to secure the services of Rodri, a player they have long admired. While the Manchester City midfielder could sign a new contract with the Premier League champions, the allure of a switch to Real Madrid may weigh heavily on his decision.

If Rodri arrives in the Spanish capital, he would likely command a guaranteed spot in the starting eleven, raising questions about Tchouameni’s long-term future at the club.

Although manager Carlo Ancelotti views Tchouameni as an integral part of the squad, club president Florentino Perez has previously shown a willingness to sacrifice high-profile players to bring in new talent. Should Tchouameni be made available, Los Blancos are expected to demand a substantial fee, ensuring they recoup their original investment in the midfielder.

Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta, are reportedly one of the top contenders for Tchouameni’s signature, especially with Thomas Partey’s future at the Emirates uncertain. However, Arsenal would face stiff competition from other top clubs. Liverpool, still seeking a holding midfielder after missing out on Martin Zubimendi, and Manchester City, should they lose Rodri, are also expected to be in the race for Tchouameni.
