According to a report by Football365, Arsenal are keen on signing Barcelona's youngster Arnau Pradas. Manager Mikel Arteta is looking to bolster his squad over the next couple of transfer windows and has identified the 18-year-old as a major target.

Pradas, who has been dubbed a 'Lamine Yamal clone', is one of the exciting talents from the club's famous La Masia academy. He plays for the club's U-19 side and is yet to make his senior team debut. The Spanish youngster will be out of contract with the Spanish giants next summer, and the Gunners are preparing a proposal to bring him to England.

According to the report, Arteta is eager to have Pradas at the Emirates and wants to sign him quickly. The Gunners have reportedly contacted the player's representatives, with Arteta confirming his interest in the player.

Barcelona are yet to offer Pradas a new contract, and manager Hansi Flick has not shown major interest in him yet. Thus, he could be forced to accept an offer from the Premier League club.

If the deal were to materialize, Pradas could become a key player for Arsenal in the future. Like Yamal, he is left-footed and primarily plays as a left-winger. However, he can also be deployed on the right wing.

Arsenal reportedly planning a swoop for Bayer Leverkusen star

The Gunners are also planning on making a move for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz. The German international has been one of the best young talents in Europe for the past few seasons and is highly wanted by top European clubs.

Wirtz played a huge part in Bayer Leverkusen's maiden title win last season. The 21-year-old contributed 18 goals and 20 assists in 49 games across competitions as Xabi Alonso's side won the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal, as well as had a runner-up finish in the Europa League.

Arsenal are now preparing to splash a sum in the region of £86 million to sign Wirtz, as per the aforementioned report. Arteta is looking to strenthen his side as he aims to challenge for trophies with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool, and a player like Wirtz could be key to his plans.

The German youngster has continued his fine form this campaign, registering six goals and an assist in seven games across competitions.
