Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are reportedly confident about signing RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko in 2025 after they missed out on his signature this summer. The Slovenian attacker was on the transfer radar of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United during the summer transfer window. However, he decided to stay at RB Leipzig by signing a new contract.

Despite failing to acquire the 21-year-old's services this summer, the Gunners are keen to sign Sesko next year, as per CaughtOffside. As per the aforementioned report, Arsenal have already started conversations with Leipzig about the future of the Slovenian forward.

The Gunners are confident about completing the signing of Benjamin Sesko next year. Having said that, they will have Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram as the alternative if they fail to complete the deal for Sesko. The 21-year-old forward is valued at £42 million, and his release clause is also expected to be around the same bracket.

Benjamin Sesko joined RB Leipzig from RB Salzburg in July 2023 by penning a five-year contract, which had a release clause of £55 million. Since joining the Bundesliga side, he has made 45 appearances across all competitions, bagging 19 goals and four assists.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in race to sign Arsenal midfielder next year: Reports

Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and other Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey next year.

The Ghanaian midfielder has been a crucial part of Mikel Arteta's side in recent years. However, with the arrival of Declan Rice and Mikel Merino, the 31-year-old has fallen behind in the pecking order. As a result, other clubs are aiming to sign Thomas Partey in the next transfer window.

Additionally, he will be out of contract next summer. According to CaughtOffside, Partey has been on the transfer radar of Barcelona for a long time. Moreover, he played for the first team of Atletico Madrid between 2015 and 2020 before he joined the North London club.

He joined the Gunners in October 2020 on the deadline day after Arsenal met Partey's £45 million release clause. Since joining the Emirates outfit, he has made 118 appearances across all competitions, bagging six goals and four assists.

Apart from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Seria A giants Juventus and Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League are also interested in signing the 31-year-old.
