Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon drew attention when he drove away from the club's training facilities in a one-of-a-kind Hummer EV on Wednesday (September 18). The 23-year-old has been one of the mainstays in the Newcastle attack since arriving from Everton in 2023.

In the last season, he scored 12 times and recorded 11 assists in 48 games for the Magpies across competitions. This season, he has started all games in the Premier League and has also represented England twice in the Nations League.

Ahead of Newcastle's Premier League fixture against Fulham, Gordon caught eyes when he brought his imported Hummer EV to training at Darsley Park. The all-electric vehicle reportedly costs a staggering £190,000 and is inspired by Activision's popular video game Call of Duty.

The SUV weighs roughly 4,500 kg and can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in just three seconds, thanks to its 1000 horsepower engine. Gordon's Hummer is believed to be the first of its kind to be imported from the United States.

The vehicle also costs a fortune to maintain. According to YouTube user Kyle (via SPORTbible), charging the vehicle costs between £7.50 to well over £75.50 depending on the model.

Anthony Gordon's future at St. James' Park has come under question lately, with Liverpool reportedly keen on signing the English winger. The Reds were close to signing the Englishman this summer, but he ended up staying at Newcastle.

As per Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, the Reds haven't given up on signing Gordon. Despite failing to sign the star forward this summer, Gordon could arrive at Anfield next summer.

To avoid being prised out by Arne Slot's outfit, Newcastle want to hold contract renewal talks with Gordon (via The Hard Tackle). Eddie Howe considers him an integral part of his plans and doesn't want to part ways with the Englishman. Anthony Gordon's contract with the Magpies expires in the summer of 2026.
