Vinicius Junior surprised fans at Madame Tussauds in the United States when the Real Madrid superstar pretended to be his waxwork. Fans responded to clips of his hilarious antics on Instagram.

The 24-year-old was in America for Copa America but couldn't help Brazil end their trophy drought. He enjoyed his downtime after Selecao's quarterfinal exit by visiting Madame Tussauds and seeing his model up close.

Vinicius took the opportunity to stun fans by pretending to pose as his waxwork before breaking out of a pose. This resulted in some hilarious responses, with fans in disbelief that the Real Madrid forward was live in living color.

The Ballon d'Or favorite was all smiles in the clips posted by OneFootball. He allowed fans to get photo opportunities once he broke character, and his pause game deserves a mention.

Online fans reacted to Vinicius' Madame Tussauds' mischief in similar disbelief over the Real Madrid hero's antics. One fan alluded to how entertaining the 33-cap Brazil international is:

Vinicius reflected on Brazil's Copa America elimination by apologizing to fans for missing the quarterfinal. He accumulated two yellow cards, meaning he was suspended as Selecao lost 4-2 to 10-man Uruguay on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

The Real Madrid star penned a message to Brazilian fans on Instagram:

"Copa America is over and it's time to reflect, know how to deal with defeat. The feeling of frustration kicks in again...Again on the penalties."

He added:

"I failed (getting) two yellow cards. I watched the elimination of outside again, But this time, it's my fault. I apologize for that. I know how to listen to the criticism and the harshest ones, believe me, come from within."

Vinicius is looking to the future and is enthusiastic about Brazil's chances of reclaiming their throne at the top of international football:

"My national team journey, fortunately, is just beginning. Next to my teammates, I'll have the chance to relocate our national team to the place it deserves. WE WILL BE BACK ON TOP! I LOVE YOU AND WE ARE TOGETHER!"

Vinicius has not won a trophy since debuting for Brazil in September 2019, aged 19. He'll have to wait longer with all eyes on the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be back in the United States and Canada/Mexico.
