Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah could leave the west London club on deadline day. According to transfer insider Ben Jacobs, the England defender has attracted interest from Premier League sides Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United, and Crystal Palace.
The Blues have already brought in Tosin Adarabioyo as a free agent as a potential replacement for Thiago Silva. With many options in the backline, Chalobah has been deemed surplus to requirements by Enzo Maresca and will be allowed to leave if the right offer comes.

Trevoh Chalobah joined the Blues at the tender age of nine, reaching the senior squad after progressing through the ranks in the academy. The 25-year-old signed a contract extension in 2022, keeping him tied to the Blues until 2028.
Although Chalobah was a regular in his first few seasons in the senior side, the game time dried up in the 2023/24 season. The Englishman made just 17 appearances for the Blues, scoring a solitary goal.

Chelsea have come under scrutiny from the English Professional Footballers' Association for their record of mass banishment of players from first-team training. The latest addition to the list was Raheem Sterling, as the Englishman was asked to not train under new boss Enzo Maresca.

The PFA has deemed the practice 'unacceptable' and has started questioning these players to put an end to these rampant banishments. The 13 banished players reportedly cost the Blues a staggering £321 million.
However, the Premier League Handbook appears to be 'vague' in this regard. According to the report, FIFA also has a role to play regarding the protection and transfer of players against 'abusive conduct.'
The Blues will play their next Premier League game against Crystal Palace at home on September 1.
