KuPS welcome UNA Strassen to Vara Areena for the second leg of their UEFA Conference League round one qualification tie on Thursday (July 18th). The tie is firmly in the balance after the first leg ended in a goalless stalemate in Luxembourg.
Both sides will now resume their quest to advance to the second round of the Conference League qualifiers.
KuPS booked their spot at this stage courtesy of their runners-up finish in the Veikkausliiga last season. Strassen are flying the flag for Luxembourg on the continent.

KuPS would have been disappointed to have ended the first leg in a draw in a game that saw them finish with 10 men following Ibrahim Cisse's 75th-minute red card. They will be looking to make amends on home turf in a game where they enter as the heavy favorites.
Strassen are making their European debut in slightly unusual circumstances. They finished sixth in the BGL Ligue last season and were nowhere near the European places. However, the inability of the clubs that finished above them to get UEFA license to compete in the Conference League granted them the opportunity to taste continental football. Arno Bonvini's side gave a good account of themselves in the first leg but are unlikely to pose much of a threat here.
