Getafe and Leganes return to action in La Liga when they go head-to-head at the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Sunday. This will be the first league meeting between the two teams since January 2020, when Jose Bordalas’ men picked up a comfortable 3-0 victory at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque.
Getafe were denied their first win of the new La Liga campaign as they fell to a 2-1 loss against Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin Stadium. Before that, Bordalas’ side kicked off the season with three consecutive stalemates before suffering a 1-0 loss against 10-man Sevilla on September 14.
