Feyenoord v AS Roma: Knockout Round Play-offs First Leg - UEFA Europa League 2023/24
Feyenoord take on Cercle Brugge in a friendly on Saturday

Feyenoord continue their preparations for the upcoming Eredivisie campaign when they take on Cercle Brugge in a friendly at Sportcomplex Varkenoord on Saturday. Brian Priske’s men have won their first two warm-up games and will be looking to keep the ball rolling.

Feyenoord maintained their fine run of results last weekend when they picked up a dominant 3-1 victory over Belgian outfit KRC Genk at the Feyenoord Stadium.

Before that, Priske’s side kicked off their pre-season schedule with an emphatic 4-0 win over FC Dordrecht courtesy of goals from Calvin Stengs, Ayase Ueda, Bart Nieuwkoop and Ilias Sebaoui.

Feyenoord will head into the new campaign looking to build on their performance from last season when they finished as runner-up in the Eredivisie and clinched the Dutch Cup title.

Elsewhere, Cercle Brugge turned in a resilient team display last time out when they played out a 1-1 draw with French outfit AS Monaco.

This followed a thrilling 3-2 victory over AEK Larnaca in their first game of pre-season fame at the Sportpark De Wieën on July 6.

Cercle Brugge enjoyed an impressive 2023-24 campaign as they finished fourth in the Belgian Jupiler League Championship Round table to secure a place in the Europa League qualification playoff.
