Almeria visit the Nuevo Pepico Amat on Sunday to face off with Eldense in the Segunda Division, looking to pick up their second win of the league campaign.
Following their relegation from La Liga last season, Almeria are back in the second tier after two years and it's been a bumpy start for them so far.
A 2-2 draw with Racing Ferrol on the opening day was followed by a narrow 1-0 win over Tenerife on matchday two, before Sporting Gijon pegged them back in a 1-1 draw.
With five points in three games, Almeria are in eighth position in the league table, but will have to click into gear soon enough to kick-start their quest for promotion back to the top.
On the other hand, Eldense are four places below Almeria, having accrued a point fewer. The Azulgranas began their campaign with a 2-1 win over Tenerife, but could not find a way past the obdurate Gijon in a 0-0 draw. Cartagena then inflicted the side with their first loss of the season, fighting back an early deficit to win 2-1.
Eldense had their noses in front after 29 minutes through Joel Jorquera, but the visitors responded through a penalty from Andy Rodriguez followed by a goal from Lucas Roman, both coming in the second half.
